Dale A Thomson is a 23 year old Edinburgh born Hip Hop and Grime producer, who has been making music on/off for the past 5 years. He started of in the music industry writing songs and freestyling over other people's tracks before finally making the step over to music production in early 2009. His style of production ranges from the use of samples from 1970's and 80's music to building complete tracks from scratch. Dale's musical influences are mostly from artists/producers who have inspired him throughout his life with their music. Such artists are 2pac, Notorious B.I.G, Wiley and Sway through to Producers such as Kanye West, The Heatmakerz, Low Deep and Davinche. 2010 has seen Dale move from strength to strength and he is beginning to get some credible recognition from other artist and producers not only from the Scottish Hip Hop scene but from the Hip Hop Scene as a whole. This caught the attention of Music Comes First Records Director Jay McLeary, who then spoke to Executive Producer John Mcghee and Label Consultant John Meikle about Dale joining the MCFR team and it was agreed to ask him if he wanted to become part of the Music Comes First Family. Dale accepted by saying it was a great opportunity for himself to develop and to work with a lot of great artists and a great Record Label who are making serious moves in the music industry. The rest as they say is history. At the moment Dale is currently producing and working on a large number of projects for Music Comes First Records, which involves Madhat McGore's Grime LP along with tracks for Blasfima Sinna. Dale is a very versatile producer and will personally tailor the beat for you. This can involve as many emails or meetings etc until the beat is exactly as you want it.
